The value for money at Hobu was great, with a cosy and spacious room that kept us warm. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the staff were friendly and available 24/7.

The food for breakfast could be improved with more options for those who don't eat bread.

The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us lots of advice throughout our stay. The hostel had good security, which made us feel safe during our new year celebrations. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the beds were comfortable.

Hobu felt like home. We kept extending our stay and ended up staying for a week. Juan was so friendly, funny, kind, outgoing, and helpful. We stayed in the cozy and comfortable four-bed dorm in the attic. It had a family feel and we met so many cool travelers. There was a free breakfast and delicious coffee every morning. the hostel is located in a safe neighborhood and it's easy to get to the city center. We felt safe and comfortable the whole time and can't wait to come back to experience Hobu again. Cons: Almost perfect! 💯.

my longer stay in bogota was made perfect by hobu. brand new, clean, and nicely decorated facilities. the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the relaxing common area was spacious and well-equipped. definitely the best choice for me in the poblado neighborhood.

I had a fabulous stay at a cosy hostel with a delicious breakfast. The double room was super cosy and warm, and the showers had good pressure. The staff were very friendly and gave helpful advice. I highly recommend this hostel.

I recently stayed at Hobu in Chapinero for a few nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us. The hotel itself is a charming, well-maintained old house with lots of character. It's also exceptionally clean, which I really appreciated. The hot showers had great water pressure, and the beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of plugs and cozy blankets. The location is ideal, with easy access to transportation and a supermarket nearby. The complimentary breakfast, especially the fruit and delicious homemade marmalade, was a lovely touch.

Nothing not to love.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, always making an effort to remember my name. the location of the hostel was perfect for exploring the city, with a short walk to a main bus station and a supermarket. the room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. I also enjoyed the common area, which had a lovely garden, lounge, TV room, dining room, and kitchen. they had a small bar, which was a nice bonus.

The wifi in my room on the second floor was almost non-existent, although it worked fine in the lounge downstairs. the shower situation for men was not ideal, as two out of four showers were broken and the other two were directly facing the bathroom door with just a curtain.
